At long last! A reliable, non-obtrusive central locking system has been developed to suit the RSI SMARTCAP canopies. Save time and stop manually locking and unlocking all six locks!
DESCRIPTION:
This kit is manufactured by canopy locks Australia and mounts directly to the existing compression locks with minimal modification or loss of space inside on the canopy. The compact design also clears all of the weather seals on the canopy unlike some other brands which can interfere with and damage the seal.
HOW DOES THIS SYSTEM WORK?
The Canopy Locks actuator is pop riveted onto the back side of the RSI Compression lock (Drilling is required). When the lock is engaged, a locking pin is pushed into the compression lock lever preventing it from moving and unlocking the canopy. When the lock is disengaged, this pin is pulled back allowing free movement of the compression lock.
A protection bracket is supplied as standard with the kit to reduce the risk of the actuator being knocked or damaged.
The handle can still be locked with the key, however for the central locking to work the key has to be in the unlocked position at all times.

SPECIAL NOTES:
We do not supply handles, as these kits are for the installation to your original canopy handles.
We do not supply any wiring with these kits.
Kits can be connected to the vehicle central locking, we recommend that an auto electrician do this connection, or we can supply a remote control unit with 2 fobs. All wiring must be supplied by the installer, wiring diagram is only supplied with our remote control.
