TOUGH DOG 3950KG GVM UPGRADE FOR TOYOTA LANDCRUISER 78 TROOPY V8 (2007-2022)
If you’re looking to enhance your Toyota Landcruiser's payload capacity, Tough Dog has you covered. Their GVM (Gross Vehicle Mass) upgrade kits allow you to safely and legally carry more weight. Here are the key details:
ONLY AVAILABLE FOR THE V8 ENGINE
Payload Increase: Tough Dog’s GVM upgrade can boost your vehicle’s allowable payload by 620kg, taking it from the factory GVM of 3300kg to a massive 3900kg.
Safety and Compliance: These kits are rigorously tested to ensure compliance with Australian Design Rules (ADRs). They undergo Finite Element Analysis (FEA) testing, brake testing (laden and unladen), and ESC (Electronic Stability Control) testing. This ensures that your upgraded 4WD will handle well and stop safely even with the increased load.
Federal or State Approval: Depending on whether your vehicle is registered, you can choose either federal or state-based approval for the GVM upgrade. If your vehicle has never been registered, federal approval can be applied. For registered vehicles, the data used in federal compliance is combined with a vehicle inspection by an authorized state engineer to certify the upgrade.
Installation: Fitting must be carried out in-store. All of our pricing includes fitting and wheel alignment.
