Why do you need a Seal Kit for the Next-Gen Ford Ranger Tub?

The Next-Gen Ford Ranger has two holes at the front of the Tub which will allow water to freely enter the tub. The Utemaster standard fitting kits work with the Genuine Ford Plastic Liner and the Utemaster kit/ Plastic Liner works as a barrier to deflect water ingress.

The Next-Gen Ford Ranger Raptor & XL/XLS models come with either a spray liner, or no liner at all. If your tub does not have a Plastic Tub Liner then a ‘Utemaster Spray Liner Sealing Kit’ is required to prevent water ingress. This is especially common in the Raptors which often come standard with a spray liner.

A Spray Liner is a heavy-duty surface protector that is sprayed onto the metal of the tub, and looks like the below image. A Plastic Liner is a hard plastic skin which drops into your tub as 1 piece.
